I was born in 1970 in Armagh, Northern Ireland. My father,Hugh, was a bank manager and my mother, Brid, was a housewife, mother, carer and more. In 1974, my father decided to move my two brothers and I to Dublin. This was likely for safety reasons and to avoud the “Troubles” as the fighting had become known at that time. Dad had an opportunity to move all of us to Chicago in 1979 and representat his employer in a local office.
